Review by hotel critic
Campeggio Boscoverde offers a solid balance between value and comfort in a beautiful setting. During my stay, the bungalow was newly renovated and surprisingly well-equipped, with cookware and kitchen utensils at hand to prepare meals. The mini market on-site caught my attention with its excellent selection of meats and cheeses, paired with friendly service, which was a delight. Renting bikes was convenient, allowing quick access to the nearby beach and the charming village of Torre del Lago Puccini. The location was also a great base for exploring iconic cities like Lucca and Pisa. While the accommodations are modest, you truly get good amenities—including a seasonal outdoor pool and bar/lounge area—at a reasonable price. The nightly events during the summer added a lively touch without stretching your budget. If you're planning a visit, Campeggio Boscoverde skillfully navigates the line of luxury and practicality, making it a wise choice. I do see myself returning.
